- Surface WatersVenezuela consists of 2 extensive basins: Atlantic Ocean & Caribbean Sea basins. Some rivers such as "Orinoco" and other important ones are flowing on basin of Atlantic Ocean. % 70 portion of this basin is covered by "Orinoco" river. In figure 3, "Orinoco" basin which is situated between 2 countries of Venezuela and Colombia has been shown.
Caribbean basin consists of some smellers basins (for example, Msracaibo Lake). Despite smaller basin, it has a very high population density. Most precipitations fall in November in Venezuela.
The climate of Venezuela varies from Tropics to Alp and its average yearly temperature changes from 8ْ C at 3000 m to 28 ْ C at less than 800m of sea level. In figure 4-5, a total feature of precipitation and morphology of Venezuela has been represented.
There are over than 1000 rivers in Venezuela. "Orinoco River" is the Eightest River of the world and second river of South America.

- Underground Waters
In figure below, regions enriched by underground waters has been shown. In Venezuela, the underground waters are of great importants . The richest region of underground waters in Maraca Ibo plains are Quibor and Qoanipa. These regions are of great importance for population, agriculture and industries.
Wells are great sources of underground waters in this country. Most wells are in diameter 150-200 mm and in depth 50-100m. The quenching of wells is 50 - 150 m3 /h or more. In addition, the total quality of underground waters is well & TDS is estimated at 100- 700 mg/l.
