 Venezuela is a country on the northern coast of South America adjacent to Caribbean Sea ‎and North Atlantic Ocean between Guyana and Colombia. Caracas is the capital city of ‎Venezuela with total area of 912050 Sq. kilometer; 882050 Sq. kilometer is covered by ‎lands and 300000 Sq. Kilometer by water. The coastline of this largest city of Venezuela ‎is 2800 Kilometer. Venezuela possesses borders with Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean to ‎the north, Guyana to the east, Brazil to the south, and Colombia to the west. ‎

Venezuela is one of the richest countries of Latin America which naturally consist of 4 different regions of: the extreme northeastern extensions of the Andes, low & humid lands surrounding to "Maracaibo", and highlands of Guyana which covers the half of this country. The most population of Venezuela, which works as craftsman, lives along the northern coastline.

The highest point of Venezuela, Pico Bolivar (La Columna) reaches up to 5007 meter in height and the lowest point of this country, Caribbean Sea to 0 meter in depth. Though Venezuela is entirely situated in the tropics, the range of temperature & humid decrease on high elevation areas. Anodes and low elevation areas of "Maracaibo", Yanos plains and Guyana are respectively located at north of Bakhtar, center and southeastern of this country. In 2005, % 2.85 portion of Venezuela mainlands were agricultural, % 0.88 portion has been estimated for permanent agriculture and % 96.27 portion related to other lands. The total area of irrigable lands of Venezuela is 5750 km. This country can be divided into 23 provinces.

There are 27 different climatic regions & 38 geology unit in Venezuela.

Though this country is very rich in water resources, the strong pollutions threaten them. The most pollutions which results from oil extraction, has different harmful impacts on surface &underground waters of Venezuela. Though there is no national rules of water in this country, recently, some efforts has been made. Venezuela obtains remarkable amounts of energy from water resources.
